Vital Nation’s patent pending V-STAK incorporates the same revolutionary technology found in the KPS600. The V-STAK enables athletes, coaches and parents to seamlessly retrofit existing team socks and jerseys to achieve benchmark cut-and-impact resistance; protecting vulnerable areas of the body. The V-STAK is applied to the interior of the garment and is not visible to spectators. The V-STAK can be applied to both wool and polyester garments. The V-STAK causes no discomfort and does not impact performance or range of motion during competitive gameplay. The V-STAK is applied using a heat press or standard household iron – please follow the instructions found on this website before applying.

PROVEN CUT PROTECTION

The V-STAK has been laboratory tested in accordance with the ASTM F1790 Standard that measures the cut resistance of materials used in protective clothing.

THE RESULT: Using the ANSI/ISEA 105-2000 Performance Level Classification* the V-STAK achieved a Level 3.

*ANSI/ISEA 105-2000 defines performance levels for cut resistance achieved using the ASTM F1790 Standard and is categorized from Level 0 through Level 5, with Level 5 being the highest possible Level.

V-STAK-Size-Guide

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT/HEAT APPLICATION PROCEDURES:

1. PROFESSIONAL HEAT PRESS:

RECOMMENDED PRESS TEMPERATURE: 140C (285F) FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 SECONDS
WITH MODERATE PRESSURE. HEAT TO BE APPLIED DIRECTLY TO INSERT WITH GARMENT INSIDE OUT.

2. HOUSEHOLD IRON:

APPLY MODERATE PRESSURE AND HIGH HEAT (APPROX. 150C OR 300F) TO INSERT WITH GARMENT
INSIDE OUT UNTIL BOND IS ACHIEVED.

RECOMMENDATION IS APPROXIMATELY 60 SECONDS OF DISTRIBUTED HEAT/PRESSURE EVER ENTIRE SURFACE.

IMPORTANT: WITH EITHER METHOD, ENSURE THAT EDGES ARE SECURELY BONDED WITH NO VISIBLE LIFTING.
